Santa Barbara’s most popular attractions include old Hotel Virginia, El Pueblo Viejo district and the Old Mission’s pink towers where events are hosted. The County Courthouse features colorful murals, and the clock tower and observation deck located close by deliver a great view of the area. The 1873 founded Lobero theatre still hosts performances, and was restored by George Washington Smith in the 1920s. These architectural structures were only possible due to the city founder’s detailed planning, Kenny Slaught explains.
