The room has 16 big generators and a small one that acts as two generators. They provide hydroelectric energy to 15 nearby areas, Kenny Slaught says. Southern California uses 28%, Nevada takes 23%, and Arizona receives 18%. The Native American tribes nearby also use the energy, and 90% of the water in Las Vegas comes from the dam. Lake Mead, located inside Hoover Dam, can be one of the country’s biggest water reservoirs. The United States Bureau of Reclamation manages it, and it is a beautiful attraction to see when visiting.
